About Us
We set up Hot Properties wth two objectives - to make selling your property easy, and to do some good.
The web explodes old methods of selling your house, or renting a flat. Buying, selling and renting information no longer needs to go through the narrow channel of Estate Agents. The web allows you to deal direct.
However, we noticed that most property web sites were not created by people who understood how the web, and search engines work. The sites were difficult to find, and so not a good place to advertise.
Hot Properties web site was created from the ground up to be highly visible online - our aim is maximum web reach. Maximum reach means maximum visitors to the site, and maximum exposure for your advert.
We also wanted to do some good. Our colleague, Katie Harrison established FRANK over a year ago, with a brilliant proposition. Sell bottled water in the UK, and put ALL the profit (about 60p in every £1) into funding clean water projects in developing countries. We recently visited it's first project, in Kotapeta, India which is now supplying 250 families with clean, safe water. They could do a lot more with more support, so we pledge 30% of all income from this site (income from your ads, from pay per click revenue and affiliate advertising)
The site itself was created with the programming talent of Rightway Solution, and the marketing and SEO knowledge of webbactivemedia.
Your Privacy: This web site does not require you to register to use it. You can choose how much personal information you place in your advertisment, which will be stored by the site, and visible online. The site does use one "cookie" or data file to store one item of information about your visit, and this is the Town which have used in a search. This is so when you click For Sale, Rent, Estate Agent, or Solicitor links, you see results from the town you are interested in.
